ZUG, Switzerland, October 28, 2010 – Capital Dynamics is extending its Asian reach by opening an office in Tokyo on November 1, 2010. The team will be led by Kazushige Kobayashi. The office will complement the Firm’s existing Hong Kong presence in Asia.
Kazushige Kobayashi, who joins as a Managing Director and brings nearly two decades of private equity experience to Capital Dynamics, joins from Alternative Investment Capital Limited (AIC), where he was President and CEO. Prior to AIC, he was engaged in private-equity related business at Mitsubishi Corporation in Tokyo and London.
Capital Dynamics believes Japan offers a wealth of current and long-term investment potential. It has been active in Japan for some years and is delighted that it can deepen its commitment to the market by becoming a member of the local business community.
