Product Development and Solutions (PDS):
Capital Dynamics' Product Development and Solutions (PDS) team is responsible for the launch of every product on the CD platform spanning a diverse set of alternative investment strategies and local markets. PDS sits at the intersection of investment, sales, legal, compliance, structuring, and responsible investment functions. Excelling in this role requires strong critical thinking, the ability to construct and communicate a compelling argument (both verbally and in writing), and a solid grasp of private markets fundamentals. The Capital Dynamics Clean Energy (CE) team makes direct equity investments in carbon-reducing renewable energy power generation from late-stage development to commercial operations.
The opportunity:
The Intern will develop a deep understanding of Capital Dynamics’ Clean Energy platform, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the broad functions conducted within a global asset management firm. The individual will gain immediate exposure to the global Capital Dynamics CE team, enabling them to build their professional network and interact with colleagues across the firm, while also benefiting from the brand and professionalism of this new environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Gain a broad, hands-on understanding of Capital Dynamics' clean energy infrastructure business lines.
• Support the creation and maintenance of marketing materials, fund updates, pitch decks, and other product collateral related to our clean energy funds.
• Support the review and completion of DDQs and RFPs, drawing on existing data, firm resources and key stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support sales professionals or other internal stakeholders.
• Assist with project management for fundraising activities including tracking key milestones, investor meetings, data room management and pipeline progress.
• Use AI tools including large language models (LLMs) to accelerate the drafting of marketing materials, summarise research, and streamline DDQ and RFP responses.
The successful candidate will be:

• Genuinely interested in private equity and the dynamics of clean energy / renewable energy market.
• Comfortable experimenting with new AI tools and technologies, and keen to apply them practically in your work.
• A clear and structured communicator - able to synthesise complex information into concise, well-presented outputs.
Skills, Education & Qualifications:
• Relevant prior internship experience in one or more of the following areas is beneficial:
o Private Equity fund or Infrastructure fund
o M&A or structured/leveraged finance team of a leading European or American bank
o Transaction Services team of a leading audit firm
o Leading strategy consulting firm
• Understanding of or interest in financial product marketing and familiarity with alternative investment products is desirable.
• Competency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to produce clear, well-structured materials.
• Broad quantitative, qualitative, and interpersonal skills; a strong team player.
• AI & LLM Fluency, practical experience using AI tools such as large language models (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini), prompt engineering, or AI-assisted content and research workflows. Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and apply them responsibly in a client-facing context.
• Awareness of how AI is reshaping product marketing, investor communications, and operational workflows in asset management is highly desirable.
Education & Qualifications:
• Strong education background - a current student (2nd year plus) or a recent graduate, in one of the following disciplines: Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Language Requirement:
• Essential - Must be fluent in English and display superior writing skills.
