Finance Department:

The Capital Dynamics Finance team manage all elements of operational finance, reporting and regulatory reporting obligations. Further, the team provides oversight, controls and protection to safeguard the firm’s interests and budgets while upholding the financial integrity of the business. The team also partners with the business and stakeholders to drive value creation and efficiencies within the wider organization, either directly or by enabling improved performance to support the firm’s continued growth.

 

Role Purpose:

Capital Dynamics is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Finance Operations team based in the London office. The purpose of this role is primarily focused on accounts receivable processes and activities and will support the  accounts payable, expenses, fund recharge and cash processes.

The role ensures that revenue and expenses are recorded completely and accurately and that the Group’s working capital is managed appropriately.

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Ensure excellent day-to-day accounts receivable operations, including revenue recognition, payment reconciliation and cash collection.

• Responsible for the preparation and review of revenue invoices ensuring they are prepared accurately and on a timely basis.

• Assist in the preparation  and calculation of fund rechargeable expenses and services linked to managed investment fund vehicles.

• Ensure that payable invoices and expense claims are processed on a timely basis and in accordance with company policies

• Support the business with accounts receivable queries, building strong relationships with key stakeholders by resolving external and internal queries by phone and email.

• Work with external fund administrators to ensure an efficient way.

• Assist in the production of KPIs and other management information for accounts receivable.

• Proactively communicate issues and concerns around accounts receivables to the finance management team.

• Work with the wider Finance team and the business to understand cash requirements by entity.

• Support the preparation of weekly cash reports for the Head of Finance Operations, detailing cash balances and analyzing the transactions of the previous week. Produce detailed cashflow forecasts across all entities and currencies.

• Support other processes such as Transfer pricing and Revenue Recognition to ensure they are complete and accurate.

• Ensure the required balances are maintained in all accounts by reviewing entity agreements, intercompany balances and transfer pricing agreements.

• Provide support on month-end analysis and investigation; and meet audit requirements & deadlines.

• Recommend and implement improvements to the systems, processes and procedures.

• Complete other month end and year-end administrative and accounting duties.

 

Skills, Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant degrees, desirable but not required.

• Minimum of 5 - 6 plus years’ experience working in Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payable or Treasury operations.

• Good understanding of finance and accounting concepts including the coding of expenses to the general ledger and managing reconciliation etc.

• Flexible and responsive work style; ability to perform well under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines.

• High attention to detail with proven organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

• Professional demeanor and ability to use discretion when working with confidential material.

• Experience working in a multi-currency finance department would be beneficial.

• The ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines, whilst maintaining commitment to quality.

• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with NetSuite will be highly advantageous, but not essential.
