Beyond 2030: Making UK Clean Energy Investable For Pension Capital

Barney Coles, Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Clean Energy, will take part in this year’s Pensions Expert Annual Conference, one of the UK’s leading gatherings for the pension fund community.
In his presentation, Barney will look at the scale of investment needed to deliver the UK’s clean power ambitions and what makes UK clean energy assets investable for institutional capital, from regulatory and revenue frameworks to risk and return characteristics. He will also explore the opportunity for the Local Government Pension Scheme, as pooling and the local investment agenda reshape how capital is deployed, and how pension investors can support the infrastructure the UK needs.
